"Capable to make their own food" is the first thing that comes to your mind when you think of a plant. However, when questioned "what is difference between a plant and animal?", majority replies "Animals move, but plants can't;" and later on probing the answer would be "Plant synthesize food and animals can't."
We rarely speak what is in our mind despite the fact that the mind sees and speaks the truth.
Being static or immobile is not a disadvantage. Consider it as a breeding ground for creating something new or calm space beyond noise.
Plants may not be able to move from one place to another but they teach us some important lessons:
Spread well and become resourceful
Stay rooted despite of big or how small you grow
Aim high and aim for the light
Don't just limit yourself as self-made but also a self-sustained one
On external hindrance, bend - without losing identity - but never break is yet another lesson to learn from plants.
